Life Before Becoming Famous
He studied economics at Bowdoin College, graduating with honors in the late 1970s. He began his career in finance at New York’s Morgan Guaranty Trust Company.
He served on the board of the Robin Hood Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to solving poverty-based problems in New York City.
Both his father and his grandfather were business executives in the northeastern United States. Staley settled in New York City with his wife and his two daughters.
Jamie Dimon also served as CEO and President of JPMorgan Chase.
