Lily Allen's lingerie deal
Lily Allen has been signed up as the new face and body of Agent Provocateur lingerie.
The singer - who recently slimmed down from a UK dress size 12 to a size 8 - will follow in the footsteps of Kate Moss, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Dita Von Teese when her campaign for the company, shot day before yesterday (05.11.07), is released next spring.
An insider said: "The owners of Agent Provocateur, Joe Corre and Serena Rees, are delighted. They feel her natural look will appeal to a lot of women. She''s in amazing shape since she lost the weight, and the pictures of her are absolutely incredible."
Lily - who reportedly received a whopping six-figure sum for the deal - has put her weight loss down to hypnosis.
She said recently: "After the hypnotism I want to go to the gym every day otherwise I feel really bad. I just want to get more toned and healthy. I''m really good at the moment - I''ve never been happier."
And the 22-year-old singer also credited new boyfriend Chemical Brothers star Ed Simons for helping her shed the weight, giggling: "Me losing weight is down to love. I probably shouldn''t say the word love, actually. I''m in ''like''. We like each other a lot!"
But Lily insists she will never take her weight loss to extremes and has vowed to always
She said: "I''ll never be a size 0 catwalk model. I have absolutely no interest in that, at all."

As J Hoberman notes in the Voice, there''s a lot of Ingmar Bergman on New York screens right about now. Cate Blanchett is Pregnant

The actress, who sparked rumors she was expecting her third child with husband Andrew Upton last month, admits she is thrilled to be with child again.
Speaking at the Sydney premiere of her latest film "Elizabeth: The Golden Age", Cate said on Saturday, "Yes, yes, we''re expecting a baby in April, which is very exciting."
Cate said she does not know whether she is expecting a boy or girl yet. The 38-year-old Australian star and her playwright husband already have two sons, five-year-old Dashiell and Roman, three.
Cate first sparked pregnancy rumors after she was photographed sporting what has now been proved to be a baby bump while leaving New York''s Guggenheim Museum on October 27.
Cate then kept her stomach hidden under a spectacular sequined dress at the UK premiere of "Elizabeth: The Golden Age" at the London Film Festival On October 23.
The actress'' pregnancy news comes as she and her spouse prepare to begin their three-year residence as joint artist directors of the Sydney Theatre Company in January.

Sarah Jessica Parker admires Angelina Jolie for adopting.
The 'Sex and the City' actress thinks it is incredible Angelina has opened her home to three underprivileged children - Cambodian son Maddox, six, three-year-old Vietnamese son Pax and two-year-old Ethiopian daughter Zahara - and admits she can't even imagine doing the same.
Sarah - who has a five-year-old son, James, with husband Matthew Broderick - said: "It's too late for me to have a big family - I can't imagine it now. But I do think that what people like Angelina Jolie do is amazing. I love being a mother and I would be thrilled if my family were larger but I can't imagine having eight children."
The 42-year-old star admits she finds it hard to balance motherhood with being an actress because of all the attention it brings.
She added to Britain's OK! magazine: "The loss of privacy scares me, that's why you don't hear me complaining about that stuff and that is why you can't trap me into talking about the paparazzi.
"I don't know if I have found a happy balance with the cultural phenomenon of celebrity, especially what has happened over the last five years. I don't think I will ever understand or strike a balance with that."

Ashlee Simpson's Nose Job
Ashlee Simpson, at age 23, has apparently undergone a nose job.
Reports state that she was unhappy about having a "hooked" nose and had it sanded down a bit. The photo above is supposed to have been taken after her proboscis was altered.
She does look different, but then, I don't know, with make up and all the other women's tricks, who knows, or is that who nose?

Uma Thurman's stalker, who threatened to kill himself if Uma dated another man and tried to break into her trailer on a film set, has been busted by New York po po!
In a criminal complaint, the crazy a-hole is accused of some extremely bizarre shit, including giving Uma a cartoon drawing of himself "walkin g along the edge of a razor blade" - while Uma digs his grave!
In one letter to Uma he said,"I feel afraid that if I see you out again with another man, I will want to kill myself, maybe even after we meet." The stalker has reportedly been "sleeping in his car on [Thurman]'s block" and claims to have been "in love" with her "for many years" and that they are "fated to be together." The man's behavior was so severe that his family had his committed to a mental institution, which he left this summer. After his arrest last Friday, he is being charged with stalking, aggravated harassment and attempted coercion, and is being held on $10,000 bail.Makes ya happy you aren't a celebrity, doesn't it? This dude is beyond deranged, glad Uma and her kids are safe. :)

Orlando Bloom Car Accident
Orlando Bloom was involved in a wreck involving a car registered to Dariusz Wolski, the director of photography on the "Pirates of the Caribbean" films.
The crash took place around 2:15 AM near Fountain and Vista in Los Angeles.According to a traffic collision report completed at the scene by LAPD, Bloom is listed as the driver of Wolski's black '03 Toyota Matrix.
The cars involved include the Matrix, a Porsche Cayenne and a Honda Civic that was parked on the side of the street. We also spotted a bloody rag on the ground near the scene. At least one person suffered minor injuries.Orlando's face is still in tact, he's okay. Just fine. Everyone's good. Orlando's no Nick Hogan. But was he boozin' first?

OK, Britney Spears didn't lose her kids in the literal sense, but she has lost custody of them, at least temporarily.
I guess it was bound to happen considering all the goofball and downright dangerous scenarios Spears has been involved in of late.
For now and until the Court changes its order Britney has been ordered to surrender custody of her kids to Kevin Federline.
I posted about this possibility back in February when Britney was ramping up her wild ways.
