Everything about Your Body Jewelry
Body jewelry has been a part of different cultures and religions across the world since ancient times. It can easily enhance the appearance of a person. During different periods of time various societies have used body jewelry to signify class groupings. However,
body jewelry has now acquired a new perspective and the demand for it is higher than ever. You can not only use for ornamentation, but it can also be used to draw attention to certain parts of your body.
There are several types of body jewelry items available these days. Some of these are specifically designed for particular parts of your body like nose, ear lobes, eyebrow and navel or belly button. Body jewelry for the nose is available in the classic captive rounded barbell shape as well as in the form of nose screw. They can be either plain or jeweled, depending upon the wearers' preference.
Eyebrow jewelry is quite similar to the nose jewelry and is available in a small captive barbell shape. You can also get body jewelry for the eyebrow that has dangling and sparkling charms, hanging on the upper most part of the eyebrow barbell. Navel body jewelry is one of the most popular styles of body jewelry, especially amongst the younger and adventurous people. In fact, the choices of your naval body jewelry designs are various.
The following are some important points that you need to remember if you are opting for body jewelry:
- Body jewelry items are available in various metals like silver, titanium, stainless steel, tungsten and gold. Make sure that your skin is not allergic to the metal of your body jewelry. While piercing, use sterilized equipment to avoid infections.
- It is better to go for online dealers as they can easily provide you body jewelry in every range suiting your taste.
- Remember to sterilize your body jewelry by autoclaving. Professional piercers will always have an autoclave. It is better not to change your body jewelry until the piercing is completely healed.
- Though you can clean your jewelry with alcohol based products and boiling water, they can actually damage many kinds of body jewelry. Thereby, using anti-bacterial soap is the best idea as they are less likely to damage the jewelry. However, do not leave the jewelry to soak.
Body jewelry is also a personal style statement with the help of which you can either bring attention to or drift the attention away from a particular part of your body. They are very much in vogue and with right attitude you should have no difficulties in wearing any kind of body jewelry.

Solange Knowles Shaves Her Head
Solange Knowles shows off her newly shaved head while picking up her son Daniel, aka Julez, from school in Los Angeles on Thursday (July 23).
The 23-year-old younger sister of Beyonce Knowles took to her Twitter to defend her newly shorn look. Solange said, "Listen, if I wanted to make a statement, I would have twitpic"d (uploaded pictures). I was simply taking my son to school. Stupid paps took pic. I"ve had my hair cut like this for two weeks. I was not inspired by anyone but myself. I have done this twice in my life. I was 16. I was 18. Did not care about your opinion then. Don"t care now. Don"t need your attention. I am #3 trending topic [on Twitter] before IRAN and some of you can"t even locate it on a map. It"s sad. I just wanted to be free from the bondage that black women sometimes put on themselves with hair. I"m not mad at all of you that have made your opinions know and have sent negative energy my way. I expected this of you."

Natalie Imbruglia's Chanel Bag: Snob or Slob?
This black and white lambskin Chanel bag with interlaced chain is a reinterpretation of the classic flap bag and is from Chanel"s Spring/Summer 2009 collection. I"m not particularity fond of the way the color blocking is done, though at least the colors make it fairly versatile when it comes to matching the bag with an outfit. That said I would never wear a bag of this size to a formal event! This style definitely doesn"t beat the classic flap bag and I think it"s a slob with Natalie Imbrulia"s gown. What do you think -- Snob or Slob? Contact Chanel (800) 550-0005 or Alexis at 214-520-1055.

Your Wallet Speaks For You!
Technically speaking, wallet is the improvised outcome of the age-old pouches used to carry valuables. But today, are wallets used merely to carry money and credit cards? Perhaps not! Wallets are no longer just utility items but have become fashion accessories. Louis Wallets are one of the most popular items of the Louis Vuitton collection that offers something for everyone in terms of color, design, texture and size. These elegantly designed wallets are classy pieces of style and quality that easily fit into a man’s back pocket or a woman’s handbag. Thus a Louis Vuitton wallet adds to your personality and portrays your taste, style and status.
Types of Louis Wallets
Louis Vuitton's all-time favorite 'French Purse' is the perfect blend of style and efficacy. The natural cowhide leather lining renders durability. Constructed with separate slots for credit cards, ID card and paper bills, this can be your right pick.
The Mahina Amelia wallet reflects feminine charm. It is fashioned out of calf leather perforated with the Louis Vuitton monogram. Decked up with brass pieces, the Amelia wallet spells elegance. The wallet is featured with a press lock closure system, two patch pockets and eighteen credit card slots.
The Monogram Vernis Snapped Billfold and Coin Violette is a petite wallet, which is chic and functional with four credit card slots, two slots for papers and receipts, and a long bill slot. This trendy wallet can be carried both in a purse and in trouser pockets.

Louis wallets cater to both men and women. Those fashioned for the ladies generally have multiple compartments for holding cash, a couple of credit cards, pictures and identify proof, check books, coins and a pen. Men prefer either a flip wallet or a tri fold wallet. With Louis wallets you don't have to limit yourself to the old colors of brown, black and tan anymore. Branded wallets can even match the color of your outfits. Fashion trends opine that looking stylish is more important than looking beautiful, and style doesn’t imply only great clothing. It stands for the overall appearance of an individual. Branded accessories can become a part of your personal style statement. Next time when you flash out your Louis wallet, just check out its impact on the onlookers. Make your Louis wallet speak for your styling sense!

Jimmy Choo Kase
I can"t get over how flawless Evan Rachel Wood"s skin is. Does she not look like some sort of science fiction robot? I mean who looks like that!?!? Her crazy beautiful alabaster skin is amazing and her newly dyed red hair really sets it off better than her original color. Enough envy over the skin of a 21 year old, what I"m really I"m freaking out about is her fabulous Gucci Fall 2009 dress with feather details and Jimmy Choo Kase clutch. The clutch is streamlined and chic (the one pictured was from last season, the one she has is the black onyx Fall 09 version)-- actually reminds me of a space ship. Mayber hers. $1,495 at Jimmy Choo stores. The crystal embellished version is also for Fall 09, so fabulous!

Slim Twig and a Sweaty Crowd
Slim Twig has been in the spotlight in the Toronto music scene for quite a while, long before Now Magazine crowned him the best pop/rock artist last year. I"ve never gotten the chance to see him live, so naturally I wanted to see what the big fuss was about. Last night, the Horseshoe granted me this desire as they held a CD release party for his latest album Contempt!

Lindsay Lohan shows interest in Leonardo DiCaprio
Looks like Lindsay Lohan has had enough of women, for she is now turning her attention to men, and the latest guy she"s interested in is none other than Hollywood superstar Leonardo DiCaprio.
The "Mean Girls" star, who has recently spilt with lesbian lover Sam Ronson, was spotted flirting with the "Titanic"s actor before getting up to dance in front of him.
Lindsay spotted Leo at Hollywood hotspot My House on April 15, and indulged in cosy chat with the 34year-old star.
"As soon as Lindsay saw Leo she was like a bee to honey," British tabloid The Sun quoted a source as saying.
"She was going for the big catch and when she spotted him in a dark corner of the club she headed straight for him.
"She quickly monopolised his conversation and made sure she had him all to herself.
"Lindsay is a sharp tac. She wasn"t wasting her time chatting up small fish. She seemed interested in the gents with deeper pockets, probably because her career is on a downward trajectory.
"The pair were cosied up together deep in conversation. She definitely tickled his fancy," the source added.
Later in the night, after a few drinks and more of flirting, Lindsay took to the dance floor to show off her moves.
The eyewitness said: "It was a bit shocking when she got up and started dancing in front of him but he seemed to be enjoying it."
DiCaprio has earlier dated supermodels Helena Christensen and Gisele Bundchen, and he is currently going around with Israeli catwalk star Bar Rafaeli.

Audrina Puts The Ho in Ho-waii
If it"s smelling particularly floral around this blog of late, that"s because I just took a vicarious trip to Hawaii with the likes of LC, Brody, Audrina, and a whole host of transmittable diseases, courtesy of The Hills. Yes, it was time for The Brodester and his posse of lickspittles to embark on their bros-only vacation in the Pacific, and while it"s clearly bros before hos with this crew, the hos seemed particularly out of sorts without their bros. So what did the hos do? They followed the bros to Hawaii. Yes, it was a classic case of sojourn stalking, and no one was more fake surprised than Brody, who prior to the ladies"s appearance was conveniently resting in a hammock and babbling away about how he happy he was right at that moment. And why wouldn"t he have been? He was by the beach, surrounded by his bros (although, his new bud Luke from Bromance was curiously absent), and about to receive several days worth of nonstop flattery from the likes of Frankie and Sleazie T (he of the horrendous forearm tattoo). Unfortunately, the girls had to come by and ruin it all, what with their icky breasts and scary vaginas. Didn"t they realize this was what Bro-dawg was trying to get away from?

New Zealand's Next Top Model
Are any of you watching New Zealand’s Next Top Model? It is totally fascinating, I am obsessed.
I made an American friend of mine watch an episode & when Teryl-Leigh started talking, we spoke at the same time. Him: “Can you translate that for me?” Me: “I have no idea what she just said.” New Zealand accent ahoy!
Where would you put your money? I think the final 2 will be Christobelle & Laura, but I also really like Rebecca Rose & Victoria’s looks.
It’s funny because so many of the girls look like people I know — they have really New Zealand faces. Ruby looks like a girl I used to catch the school bus with, Christobelle reminds me of a girl I used to work with, & I am convinced I’ve actually met Laura & Victoria before.
I’m really surprised by the fact that the contestants are all so white — with the exception of Ajoh. Where are the Maori girls at?! So many Maori girls are jaw-droppingly beautiful. There was some mention made of Ruby having some Maori heritage but, well, you wouldn’t know it to look at her. There are no Asian or Pacific Island girls either, which is really weird, because it’s not like they don’t exist!
So, what do you think? Embarrassing? Culturally insightful? A hideous train-wreck or good quality television? Oh… & Australia’s Next Top Model starts up again soon (April 28th)! The girls on there are hilarious — in personality & demeanour! It’s definitely the most dramatic regional variety of the Top Model franchise, though having said that, it did actually produce a real model: Alice Burdeu.
If you’re in New Zealand you can watch the show online here. If not, you can watch online: episode 1, episode 2, episode 3 & episode 4!
